Traveling can be really tough, especially with the relentless security at airports nowadays. It can certainly be tempting to try and sneak stuff on that you shouldn’t have, but it ain’t easy.
Just ask Cong Cong, an 8-year-old boy who thought he could dupe the system by stashing contraband down his underwear at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in China.
The Telegraph reports the young boy was traveling with his grandmother, and upon learning he couldn’t legally take his precious cargo aboard the aircraft, he tried to smuggle it. The illicit cargo in question? His pet turtle.
Airport security noticed the bulky, squirming package in the child’s pants and found the animal without much difficulty.
Luckily, airport officials agreed to let the pet travel safely in cargo and Cong Cong was not punished by the airport for his devious ways (though we can’t speak on behalf of the grandmother).
