“Being John Malkovich” is one of my all-time favorite movies.
One of its finer scenes takes place when John Malkovich goes inside his own head.
There, he finds that everyone is a slightly different version of Malkovich.
This is what I’m talking about:
Well, these recreations of iconic photographs with John Malkovich replacing the subjects are a lot like that scene.
The actual Malkovich worked with photographer Sandro Miller on these pieces and successfully reimagined such classics as “American Gothic” and Andy Warhol’s self-portrait.
There are some really excellent photos here that are twinged with the appropriate amount of irreverence. They might also haunt your dreams. Check ‘em out.
